dAWk and the Double Standards

dAWk laments the lack of courtesy amongst bloggers, manifest by the countless bloggers not “tracking back” to bloggers they are speaking about.

What I don’t get are the people who can’t step up and let you know when they’re talking sh*t about you.  For those not familiar with blogging, there’s a simple tool called a trackback, located between the main post and the comments section on most blogs, that you use when talking about another blogger’s post in your own blog. It’s not required (obviously) but it’s a common courtesy, gives your own blog more publicity and makes it easy to see when other people are talking about you.

One blogger who follows that rule, even when calling you an anti-Semite, is Israellycool.  He had a brief, but emotional, infatuation with me for a few weeks where I ended up with a small pile of trackbacks.* As for the rest, and there’ve been six or seven that I know of, they seem to not know how that trackback feature works.

Funnily enough, dAWK himself does not track back to Israellycool, despite “talking sh*t” about me. Go figure.
