Inspired by the Gaza mall photos, I will endeavor to feature various facilities from Gaza over the next few weeks, with the aim of providing readers with a glimpse into the real Gaza, which is anything but a concentration camp as some claim.
My point is not that there is no hardship in Gaza, but rather that the situation is a far cry from what is being presented by the palestinians, their supporters and the mainstream media.
Introducing Gaza’s Roots Club.
A unique blend of contemporary design and urban chic, Roots Club is an icon in the heart of Gaza City. Designed with business in mind this multi-use complex – which includes an international cuisine fine dinging restaurant, an elegant banquet hall and a terrace garden café – is just minutes from Gaza’s key attractions, shopping facilities, and business center. It is only two hundred meters away from the white sand Gaza beach.
The club includes:
Roots (Fine Dining Restaurant)

Greens (Terrace Café)

Are there any maps or addresses on this? Im trying to update Wikitravel.
All we need now to complete the scene is a voice-over by Robin Leach of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." I'M SHOUTING AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!
Jim, your cognitive dissonance is showing, understandably.
You might be on to something here, Norman. I think this is why most of the pants in my closet are two waist sizes too small for me now. Or that I hate the smell and taste of cantalope. Or when I watch Fox News they all seem like partisan rightwing pinheads. Cognitive dissonance. That's it. It's all starting to make sense to me now. Thanks, Norman.
No, that's senility.
Wow! Suitable for weddings, bar mitzvahs and brisses. I can just picture the kids at a bar mitzvah party in the banquet hall doing the mummy wrap with loads of toilet paper.
Every time I hear about this place I want the Balsamic Chicken from this restaurant about 30 minutes north of here.
Wait until the American taxpayers find out they paid for that mall. Oy!
Meanwhile back in Ramallah, Ahmed is slowly seducing a young goat who caught his eye…..
Really? Even the mainstream media admits it is not a concentration camp/prison in the physical sense.
The photos you see all come from the websites of these places. So you should complain to them!
The video's gotta be old because I see Abbas and Hanniyah (yemach sh'mam vezichram) sharing a romantic dinner together at the 2:36 mark.
