Angels and Demons

Who said angels can’t be used to demonize Israel?

angel
An angel is detained by Israeli security for not carrying a permit enabling entry into Israel in a nativity scene constructed by U.S. born actor Leo Bassi of what he says depicts what it would be like if Jesus were to be born in modern day Bethlehem, in Madrid, January 4, 2011. Bassi's 16m2 nativity scene of his creation of modern day Palestinian Territories complete with Israeli checkpoints, a security barrier entering the manger scene along with soldiers and bulldozers is on display at a social center in central Madrid. The nativity scene is updated daily to change elements such as checkpoints, bedouin protests, and detentions. REUTERS/Andrea Comas

Leaving aside the fact that Jews do not live in Bethlehem (and no Jews = no Jesus being born there), if he were to be born there today, he’d likely be called the son of an ape and pig.

Methinks Leo Bassi shouldn’t quit his day job. On second thoughts..

Meanwhile, Hamas prefers to demonize Israel in a more literal way.
