What kind of world do we live in where a man can’t express his appreciation of G-d and fire his weapon in the air as an expression of joy, without being shot dead?
A Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed Thursday morning after opening fire at an IDF post near the settlement of Mevo Dotan.
IDF sources said that a Palestinian armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle opened fire at a post just before 11 a.m. Troops from the Netzah Yehuda Battalion., known for its integration of haredi youths into the IDF, opened fire and killed the armed terrorist.
The Palestinian man stood about 50 meters from the soldiers, and yelled “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is great) at the soldiers before he opened fire. The soldiers responded with a warning shot in the air, and when the gunman continued shooting, the soldiers returned fire, killing him.
