Mamoud loved his parents a lot, his mother described her relation with him as “Special”, his mother was account on him to help her in doing several works for her.
Mamoud friends described as the man of virtue, his mother died when he was ten years old.

He martyred on June 15th, 2002, he went to his family house, then played with his brothers and sisters, they didn’t know that he will execute a martyrdom operation except his mother, she knew that.
As all the Palestinian mothers, when she heard that a Palestinian youth execute an operation against the occupiers who killed the Palestinian women and children, she was very happy that the operation of her son succeeded.
