Meet A (D***) Wad

Meet Awad al-Qarni.

Awad al-Qarni

He may look like a friendly guy (or at least someone trying to impress the ladies on some Muslim dating site). But he’s not. In fact, he’s a real nasty piece of work.

Saudi cleric Dr. Awad al-Qarni is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who kidnaps Israeli soldiers. He is responding to an ad published by the Libman family offering a similar reward for anyone who catches the person who murdered their relative Shlomo Libman.

Libman was killed by terrorists near the settlement of Yitzhar in 1998.

“The press reported that the Zionist settlers will pay huge amounts of money to whoever kills the freed Palestinian prisoners,” al-Qarni said. “In response to these criminals I declare to the world that any Palestinian who will jail an Israeli soldier and exchange him for prisoners will be rewarded with a $100,000 prize,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Al-Qarni’s post has already received more than 1,000 likes and extensive coverage in Hamas-affiliated newspapers in Gaza.

Here’s his Facebook page for those who can read Arabic or otherwise like looking at meaningless squiggly lines all over the place.

Actually, this isn’t the first time Al-Qarni has sprouted hatred on Facebook. In fact, his page was deleted last year – presumably because he was using it to spread hatred, like this fatwa calling for attacks on Jewish and American interests all over the world. Of course, this didn’t stop some from rallying to have his account reinstated, with this joker even claiming Al-Qarni “has always been a moderate preacher, with moderate thoughts and belief in Islam.” But at some stage, his page was either reinstated or he simply created a new one.

Here’s hoping Al-Qarni joins his crown prince really soon.
