Photo Of The Day: Prayer Train Edition

Only in Israel will you see religious Jews donning Tefillin (phylacteries) and praying Shaharit (the morning prayers) on the train.

At the same time as a Muslim man sits on a prayer rug he has placed on the train floor and performs prayers in accordance with his religion.

Freedom of religion for all.

And no apartheid. A Muslim not only sharing a train with Jews but – shock, horror – praying openly!

Muslim prayer washing? Yeah, he probably did some of that before praying.

This is the reality of life in Israel. Not the BS fed to you by the Israel-haters, BDSHoles and other assorted scum and villainy.

Thanks to Joseph for taking and sending me the photo.

Update: Meanwhile, in other religious-tolerance-on-public-transport-in-Israel news:

An Israeli soldier was killed after he was stabbed Wednesday by a Palestinian youth on a bus at the central bus station in Afula.

The man, 18, was evacuated to the city’s Haemek Hospital with multiple stab wounds to the neck. Doctors operated on him in an attempt to stabilize his condition but he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.

Passengers on the bus, which was en route from Nazareth Illit to Tel Aviv and had stopped at the Afula station, captured the stabber and turned him over to security guards, who in turn delivered him to police.

The suspect was a 16-year-old Palestinian resident of Jenin who did not have a permit to work or reside in Israel, according to police.
