CNN’s Jake Tapper Destroys Former PLO Legal Adviser

This is not typical for CNN, which makes it even more delicious.

Jake Tapper is not a typical CNN correspondent, but a thoroughgoing professional. Any excusing of the human shield tactics by the news media I blame on the editors, who use reporters as their own human shields in ducking behind their office doors and hiding their own responsibility for dishonest reporting.

  2. Actually, Jake Tapper didn’t do anything like “destroy” her. Her strategy worked – at filling the whole segment with her BS talking points. He merely expressed dissatisfaction as she foiled his worthy challenging questions. They were sidestepped and ignored and Tapper and his show got used. Arab slipperiness won this skirmish.

    1. Correct. Here’s a similar comment I read at Hot Air:

“The only thing I saw Jake Tapper clearly have the argumentative advantage was on the existence of the video.

He didn’t respond to the claim about primitive rockets vs bombs whose magnitude was previously unseen.

She ignored the claim about 8000 rockets; Tapper didn’t follow up.

You embarrass someone in an argument by demolishing every point they make.

Those of us who don’t believe a Hamas spokesman might score a win for Tapper.

Idoubt that’s true, however, of most viewers of CNN.

      1. I disagree. I think he did it well. She ended up looking foolish to all but those who can’t be convinced anyway.

        1. I disagree. 🙂

There are many people who think they know facts but don’t. This lying witch’s points need to be countered one by one to show what a sham she and her ilk are.

    2. The trouble is the short time allowed on these shows (in the States, anyway). He simply didn’t have time to destroy every point. I was hoping they would actually PLAY the Hamas tape after the second time she said she hadn’t seen it.

Buttu is identified as a “Palestinian human rights lawyer.” Palestinian human rights is an oxymoron.
