Yesterday perpetual purveyors of truth, PressTV sent this tweet.
A rather generic looking story, but what caught my eye was the drama. The pain. The anguish of that poor poor woman who lost her only tree.
Waaaait a minute… I’ve seen this before!
A few additional points regarding that tweet that may or may not matter:
– The picture was first used on November 27, 2005. PressTV was unable to find another tree.
– The olive tree was freshly (and quite neatly) pruned, not chopped down.
– It took her a few tries to get the pose just right. I just have this mental image of this woman rolling around on the ground crying next to a tree.
