Sweden, Not So Good For The Jews?

Sweden; land of Ikea, Abba and…anti-Semitism? Swede Journalist Petter Ljunggren wanted to see what it would be like to walk around the picturesque town of Malmo… as a Jew. He donned a Yarmulke and a Star of David, things went downhill from there, like a slalom run on an Alpine mountainside.

We’ve known about Malmo for a long time. If it shocks the Swedish government into action, then the reporter has performed a service. Otherwise, I expect only yawns from Stockholm.

  2. When Denmark rescued almost its entire Jewish population during WWII… the Danes were able to smuggle Jews into neutral Sweden. Some of these Jews remained in Sweden after the war and lived with Sweden’s already established Jewish population.

How sad that Sweden… a nation that was once a have for Jews fleeing persecution is now a place where the persecution takes place and continues to worsen. For Jewish Swedes… Israel will welcome you home.
