How many times have we seen this picture? Kind, good-hearted, handsome IDF soldiers out on a mission across American campuses to prove to unsuspecting students that they are not the evil “war criminals” that Palestinians make them out to be.
In this video uploaded by StandWithUs, just when the IDF reservist politely describes the diversity in the IDF, saying “we have Jews, Christians, Muslims,” the gang from Students for Justice from Palestine (who else could it be?) walk out to the wonder of the reservist.

While there is a certain value in pointing out the sham of any Palestinian interest in dialogue, in actuality, the SJP gang had the smarter propaganda approach. By getting up in the middle of the talk, they suggest the following: “You’re just whitewashing your crimes! We will not listen to your moral righteousness as you murder Gazan children.”
It is a bold, aggressive, offensive move, serving to discredit the IDF reservist, and hence, the IDF. It was an act of propaganda war.
IDF soldiers are fighters. They need not be sweet or polite. They must defend the home front. They must be prepared for an ambush. It’s time for a propaganda offensive. Time to put the Hamas apologists on campus on the defensive. Instead of “the diversity of the IDF,” why not: “The diversity of Hamas’ deceptive war tactics,” which SWU has proven very capable of demonstrating.

The Power Point presentation must indeed include images of a diverse group of IDF soldiers – tough, fierce soldiers performing their real job: entering Gaza with tanks and guns, defending themselves and their loved ones without apology.
