Sean Penn is on a two-day visit to Israel as a goodwill ambassador for the Haitian government. He took part in an IsraAid conference aimed at helping rebuild Haiti, and later visited the Peres Center for Peace.
Which is where this video was taken. And the whole thing seems a bit awkward. Whether it be Shimon’s at times cryptic statements, Sean’s unintentionally suggestive response (“I’m happy to be alone together with you”) or the really awkward pose for the cameras at the end where Shimon looks like he wants to say something, but forgot what.
