Remember when the New York Times fawned over Israel’s brilliant military operations rescuing innocent civilians from brutal palestinian terrorists?
Yeah, me either. But in 1972 they covered the Sabena hijacking rescue operation. The tone of the entire report is one of admiration. These days, they would likely condemn such an operation.

By the way, the leader of the commando operation was some guy called Ehud Barak, and it included some other guy called Binyamin Netanyahu. Both were disguised as aircraft technicians in white coveralls.
