Gaza, Where The Victims Victimize

“People think that a liar gains a victory over his victim. What I’ve learned is that a lie is an act of self-abdication, because one surrenders one’s reality to the person to whom one lies, making that person one’s master, condemning oneself from then on to faking the sort of reality that person’s view requires to be faked…The man who lies to the world, is the world’s slave from then on…There are no white lies, there is only the blackest of destruction, and a white lie is the blackest of all.”

– Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

I was on Facebook doing some posting when this page, “Live Updates from the Gaza Strip” came past my feed. I must have followed their page but had forgotten about it. I took a look hoping that perhaps I might get some truthful updates, and not the usual self-pitying, woe is me “updates” from them.  I actually did leave a comment outlining in less detail what I’m about to write here.

Oh no, it wasn’t to be. The first post was this one:

The caption reads: “It’s a hard knock life…#poverty is real. The siege remains…#gaza.

Exploiting this child to promote the lie that the so-called siege by Israel is causing the poverty in Gaza is immoral and obscene.

A Moral Inversion: Pathologically Being Victimizer and Victim

Hamas, the Jihad dramatists in Gaza, have this game down to a science. They aren’t known as Pallywood for nothin’.

When Israel removed all the Jews from the Gaza Strip, international donors purchased the greenhouses so that the Arabs would have a ready-made business and a chance to make their territory flourish. Instead of turning it into the thriving business, they destroyed them.

Instead of using the cement that is trucked in every day to build the infrastructure and repair buildings, like the one this exploited little girl is standing in, Hamas builds terror tunnels in order to carry out savage terror attacks on Israelis.

According to a Jerusalem Post article, Israel has now invented machines that can detect and destroy these tunnels.

The IDF on Tuesday detonated the Hamas attack tunnel it uncovered 10 days ago leading from the southern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.

The military blasted the tunnel after conducting examinations of its route and inspections of its depth and length.

On Monday, the IDF announced that it had detected the first underground attack tunnel dug by Hamas into Israeli territory since the 2014 war between Hamas and Israel.

The 30-meter deep shaft was likely dug after the military’s 2014 Operation Protective Edge offensive, according to an IDF assessment, though this has not been verified.

A senior security source said a “systematic, intelligence- based, technological, engineering and operational” approach resulted in the finding of the tunnel. “We have to turn this event, of finding a tunnel, into a system, and find more tunnels,” he added.

Do you think that Hamas will stop digging around in dirt creating million dollar tunnels that get them nowhere now that they’ve been thwarted? One thinks not. Sadly, it will spur them on to use the cash dumped on them by the gullible, virtue signalling, pathetic westerners, who never learn either,  for nefarious purposes.

I Don’t Rub Shoulders With the Great Unwashed

After kidnapping and murdering three Yeshiva Teens in Israel and shooting thousands of rockets into Israel proper aimed at, and with the intent to kill and maim, civilians, Israel realized they had to strike back in the summer of 2014 and which brought us the war Operation Protective Edge.

Not wanting to endure any actual hardship from the war he started himself, millionaire Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh lived the high life in Qatar, as he used his own people as human shields scoring huge PR points with CNN and the BBC.  Some of his Arab brothers were none too pleased at his abdication of duty.

I’m Alright Jack, Keep Your Hands Off of My Cash

According to this Algemeiner article:

…”Today, Abu Marzouk is one of the major billionaires in Hamas. “Arab estimates peg his fortune at 2-3 billion dollars,” Elad says. Another senior-official-turned-terror-tycoon is Khaled Mashaal, head of Hamas’s political wing. “Global estimates say Mashaal is worth $2.6 billion,” but Arab commentators, with other sources, say he is worth between 2 and 5 billion, “invested in Egyptian banks and Gulf countries, some in real estate projects.”

Next on the list is Ismail Haniyeh, who until the recent signing of a unity deal between Hamas and Fatah was the Prime Minister of Gaza. “His fortune is estimated at 4 million dollars, and most of his assets in the Strip are registered in the name of his son-in-law Nabil, and a dozen children of his and other less known Hamas officials,” Elad says,

Most of their money comes from misused donations to the Gaza Strip, since every dollar passes through Hamas’s pipeline. Elad assesses that smuggling of goods through tunnels generates hundreds of millions a year and those who control the siphon became wealthy along the way. There are several hundred millionaires in Gaza and there would be hundreds more if smuggling would continue unabated. The man pulling the strings in Egypt is Khirat el Shatr, who is No. 2 in the Muslim Brotherhood. His connection to Hamas is allegedly based on a shared religious outlook, “but in effect it’s a thriving business, with a revenue of millions.”
So the next time we see a photo like this,  with the intent to blame Israel for all their woes, we need to take a step back and call them out on their lies and perpetual victimhood.
