A Black Lives Matter-aligned group called Atlanta is Ready (#ATLisREADY) reportedly issued a set of demands to Kasim Reed, the Mayor of Atlanta, including:
We demand a termination to APD’s involvement in the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE) program, that trains our officers in Apartheid Israel
Kasim basically told them where to go.
They definitely picked on the wrong guy. Kasim is a staunch friend of the Jewish state, speaking out during Operation Protective Edge.
And he has expanded the cooperation with Israel in other areas besides police training, such as cybersecurity.
As for Black Lives Matter and aligned groups, we are seeing the fruits of Israel haters co-opting their cause and creating a linkage between it and the so-called “palestinian cause.” Legal Insurrection has more.
