PA President Mahmoud Abbas continues to deceive.
After the death of Shimon Peres, Mahmoud Abbas released a statement, calling his death “a great loss for humanity and peace in the region.”

He has also made a big deal requesting he attend the funeral (a request that has been granted).
Yet in Arabic, his own Fatah party published this on Facebook.

So which is it?
To an international audience, Abbas has always attempted to portray himself as a the great peacemaker. But to his own people, in Arabic, Abbas has been more honest.
