Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, starts tonight.  It is a two-day festival (despite what at least one self-professed expert on Judaism would tell you). So you won’t be seeing me or any of the Israellycool gang posting on here until a few days time.

In the meantime, here are some Rosh Hashana greetings.

Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu:

Israeli President Ruvi Rivlin:

British PM Theresa May:

London Mayor Sadiq Khan:

The US Embassy in Tel Aviv:

US President Barack Obama..

Well, I’m sure it’s coming.

In other news..

Mayim Bialik talks Rosh Hashanah symbolism.

Rabbi Sacks gets graphic(s)

And of course the mandatory musical parody

On behalf of everyone here at the pro-Israel world’s most excellent blog, I wish our Jewish readers a Shana Tovah u’Metuka.
