Israelis are banned from entering 16 countries. You may have even seen this screenshot from Wikipedia doing the rounds.
When someone pointed this out to Amnesty International Australia in the comments to a post on their Facebook page, they managed to do the indefensible – they justified this policy.
The countries that have banned the passport have done so for a reason. They are aware of the atrocities committed by the Israel Defence Force and have seen Palestinians being displaced from their homes for the illegal settlements.
After this generated complaints, Amnesty deleted the comment, replacing it with this one.
Even if we accept their excuse that this was a rogue volunteer, what does it say about them they have such anti-Israel people working for them? (hat tip: Adam)
