Israel’s Netta Wins Eurovision: “I Love My Country. Next Time in Jerusalem!”

You probably already heard the news already: Israel’s Netta Barzilai won Eurovision last night.

She also won even more fans after saying this following her victory.

“I love my country. Next time in Jerusalem!”

This must be a particularly bitter pill to swallow for the haters, who were imploring Europeans to not vote for her.

Austria had actually topped the leader board after the juries’ votes had been given, and Netta won on the back of the viewers’ votes.

In the meantime, these were the scenes at Tel Aviv’s Kikar Rabin after her victory – after 2AM Israel time!

With all the troubles and strife we have endured recently – whether it be the palestinians and their ‘March of Return’ riots, or the Iranians in Syria – we are certainly enjoying this moment.
