Shining a Light on the PA’s Inverted Reality

Once again the PA has inverted reality. The popular annual Jerusalem Light Festival held in the Old City has attracted residents and international visitors. People of all ages and populations mingle, peacefully, against PA narrative of oppression and apartheid. Night after night, year after year for ten years, the international bright lights have shown from Jerusalem.

Now, the Palestinian Authority has condemned the Jerusalem Festival of Light, claiming it is part of Israeli efforts to “Judaize” the city.

When Jordan occupied the Old City in 1948, they exiled the Jewish population and destroyed all the synagogues. The largest house of worship, the Hurva Synagogue, was photographed as a huge pile of rubbish.

The Jerusalem Light Festival is using the the rebuilt Hurva Synagogue as a screen for the impressive “Rainbow” light projection.

The beauty coming from inside and outside the walls of Old City, in over 30 locations, have brought objections and a new dark level of chutzpah for PA.

“Love” in multiple languages flashed over Damascus Gate must be really upsetting..
