A few days ago I posted video of Democratic primary winner Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admitting her ignorance when it comes to the Arab-Israel conflict. During that same interview, she claimed to affirm Israel’s right to exist and to support a two-state solution.
Well, that was then and this is now – in a live discussion with Democracy Now’s Amy Goodman just two days later, Ocasio-Cortez backpedaled on supporting a two-state solution, refusing to say she supports it. Instead, she spoke of engaging with activists on the issue. (Naturally, these activists are all leftists like herself, and thus likely Israel haters).
