Unfortunate Antisemite of the Day

Meet Selene Ticchi, who ran for mayor of Bologna and is a member of the far right Forza Nuova party of Italy. She was photographed wearing this at a celebration of the anniversary of the march on Rome that opened the doors to the dictatorship in Italy. Naturally, this parade wound up at the cemetery of San Cassiano where Mussolini is buried.

And why do I call her “unfortunate”? No, it’s not because one of her teeth went on its own march, or that Disney will (hopefully) sue her ass. It is the unfortunate camera angle that cut out part of the words on her “servizio di ordine” (service of order) armband.

I am quite sure she would not want to be known as a Zionist of Order!

(For the record, I of course find this is incredibly disturbing. I just find that mocking these Jew haters is an effective weapon that really gets up their nose. But we also need to take their Jew hatred seriously, as the Pittsburgh shooting grimly reminds us)
