Della Miles is an American-born singer I had never heard of before – and judging by her relatively low number of followers on social media (for a singer, at least), neither have most people.
But she has come to my attention for this Instagram post:
Who knows how many innocent Palestinians children will break from their parents only becouse of this embarrassing and unfair American decision…. The only and true owner of the Golan hills is no doubt Allah…. Allah is with you Palestine…. Allah is liking to be patiens….. Now it is time to be patiens for Palestine… My heart beats with you Palestine
What is embarrassing is this spelling and fact error ridden drivel.
The fact that she thinks the Golan Heights is called the Golan Hills.
The fact she thinks this land we captured from Syria has anything to do with palestinians.
The fact she thinks this US decision to accept Israel’s sovereignty over it changes any current facts on the ground.
And the cherry on top? The photo is not even of an Israeli soldier and palestinian child.
I’d tell Ms Miles not to quit her day job, but judging by her relative lack of popularity as a singer, as well as this post, perhaps she is better off being a comedienne.
