Anti-Zionist-Not-Antisemite of the Day: Matt ‘Spek’ Watson

Meet Matt ‘Spek’ Watson.

Spek seems to be a walking contradiction.

On one hand, he calls himself a “Seattle-based emcee and producer who blends samples with live instrumentation to create hiphop records.” On the other hand, he announced his retirement from rapping over 3 years ago to make more room for Black artists in Seattle hip-hop (yes, really).

On one hand, he professes to have the philosophy “If you want to change something in the world go out and do it.” On the other hand, he bitched and moaned anonymously on a blog, while working as a barista (leading to his firing).

Watson is also a rabid Israel hater who seems to harbor ambitions to be a Hamas spokeshit

Naturally, he thinks he is getting a bad rap when people call him an antisemite…but I think his tweets tell a different story

Besides, he does not get bad raps. He gives them.

Drek, thanks for playing anti-Zionist-not-antisemite. Unfortunately, you lose!
