Americans for Peace Now is the sister organization of Shalom Achshav, “Israel’s preeminent peace movement.”
APN’s mission is to educate and persuade the American public and its leadership to support and adopt policies that will lead to comprehensive, durable, Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Arab peace, based on a two-state solution, guaranteeing both peoples’ security, and consistent with U.S. national interests.
They are very left-wing and excessively critical of Israel and the so-called “occupation.”
Their President and CEO Hadar Susskind recently announced that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will be joining them for a Rabin Memorial Event.
Cue whining from Israel-haters and antisemites
Note that these are the same people who would readily accept Hamas as the palestinian leadership, and who are also fine with deceased arch terrorist Yasser Arafat (not that I am comparing Rabin to them, but you hopefully get my point).
And here’s the thing: Abunimah, Blumenthal, Silverstein, and the rest of the haters vehemently oppose this event for the same reason they vehemently oppose the Abraham Accords.
They do not support peace. They want Israel in pieces. Or even better – no Israel at all.
