Roger Waters has yet again done his version of drunk-dialling: uploaded a video of one of his rants against Israel.
I have a few things to say in response to this.
Roger, for goodness sake get a haircut already! That shag you have looks like it could do with some cleansing. Perhaps even do it yourself – I hear being blind drunk while operating scissors is perfectly fine.
We know you have friends everywhere, you don’t need to spend the first minute of your rant listing where they all are. And yes, we know you have even in Israel because “some of your best friends are Jewish.” But you might have less and less friends the way you are going, especially in Columbia.
“Genocidal removal”, Roger? I am not even aware of one palestinian Arab dying in the clashes in Sheikh Jarrah, let alone a huge number or any deliberately killed. It is not surprising you also misuse the word “apartheid,” and invent words like “inconscionable.” How you are a lyricist with such a tenuous grip on the English language is beyond me.
“Where their families “have lived for hundreds of years”, Roger? The houses in question were found to have been legally purchased by Jews in the 19th century. Those houses were taken from the Jews following the 1948 war, and then handed over to palestinian families in accordance with a deal reached between Jordan and UNRWA. But of course in your mind, ethnic cleansing only goes one way.
But please do continue posting these videos. The more you post, the more obvious it should become to people just what a bitter Jew-hater you are.
