Breathtaking Aerial Timelapse of Sheep Herding in Israel

For the past seven months, Israeli drone photographer Lior Patel has been following a large herd of sheep, from winter pasture to the movement and arrival at the summer pasture.

The results are simply spellbinding.

What makes this even more enjoyable for me is that the footage was taken at Emek Hashalom (Peace Valley) – and the making of the video was a good example of how Arabs and Jews can get along. As Lior writes:

The size of the herd ranges from 1000-1700 sheep, the Shepherd dogs are an experience in themselves and everything is directed by Mustafa and his family who welcomed me every visit with open arms. Morning Coffee with Mustafa and Keith will give you energy for a whole day.

You can view more of Lior’s work on his websiteFacebook, and Instagram.
