Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has taken to Twitter to thanks countries and organizations which pledged support and assistance to Turkey in its bid to put out continuing wildfires in its southern areas.

You’ll notice Israel is included in the thank you, which is noteworthy given the terrible relations between our countries the last decade or so.
For the record, they did actually reject our offer to help, saying they have the situation under control.
The situation does not seem to be under control.
