In LGBT slang, a beard is “a fake customer or companion, especially a woman who accompanies a gay man, or a man who accompanies a lesbian, in order to give the impression that the person being accompanied is heterosexual.”
Spring boarding off this definition, I constantly use it to describe those Jews who provide cover for Jew-haters, in order to give the impression that the latter are not Jew-haters but rather friends of the Jewish community. In other words, the “best friends” of “some of my best friends are Jewish.”
Today’s “beard” is Jeremy Slevin, who does comm/strategy for Ilhan Omar.
He’s been working overtime to gaslight the Jewish community into thinking we are the ones with the racism problem.
Bonus: Fellow “beard” Max Berger joined the refrain, as did Omar’s fellow antisemite Rashida Tlaib.
We all are, Tlaib. Except you, Omar and your merry band of Jew-haters and beards are the propagators of it.
Naturally, Slevin would deny he is a beard for the Jew-haters, since no-one on the Left could possibly be a Jew-hater:
Slevin truly looks at his friends, the antisemites of the Left, with rose-colored glasses.
