On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met with US President Joe Biden, and he came out of it feeling he had met a true friend of Israel attentive to our needs.
“It was a wonderful meeting, especially the one-on-one,” he said. “It was mostly a working meeting. There was a feeling that we’ve known each other for a long time. I found a leader who loves Israel, who knows exactly what he wants, and is attentive to our needs.”
That could very well be the case (or not), but Biden didn’t seem too attentive to Bennett. In fact, he looked like he fell asleep while the Israeli Prime Minister was thanking him.
Perhaps this is why Bennett felt they’ve “known each other for a long time.”
Meanwhile, can you imagine if/when Biden meets Abbas?
They will be butting heads – literally, as they both drift off!
