Former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman has tweeted the below photo and explanation, which is bound to warm the hearts of all reasonable people – while causing the FITH syndrome of Israel-haters to flare up again:
A Gazan student studying in Ukraine fled when the war began. He crossed the border to Moldova and saw two Hatzalah volunteers with an Israeli flag draped on their car. Seeing the flag, he immediately sought their help and they are getting him home (pic below) Can’t make this up! pic.twitter.com/ORWbXSI1mg

David is a trustee of United Hatzalah, the group of Israeli volunteer first responders deployed just over the Ukraine border in Moldova and elsewhere, some of whom are in this photo. And they have retweeted the above tweet of his, indicating it is really showing what he claims.

Not that we should be surprised. It is not like the first time a supposed “enemy” has discovered we will help whoever we can:
A Lebanese citizen in #Ukraine with a group of Arab Israelis told me he's not getting help to escape. So an Israeli official now said in response: "We have no problem helping Lebanese or any other Arab citizens as well. He can join the Israeli bus"

But the haters will continue desperately spinning anything we do to save lives:
