Zionism Simply Defined

Last month, I was asked by my friend Rabbi Uri Pilichowski, Senior Educator at Nefesh B’Nefesh’s Zionist Education Initiative, to participate in a discussion about Zionism. The discussion was fascinating, and he served BBQ meats, so needless to say, it was a very rewarding experience.

At the end of the discussion, Rabbi Uri asked the participants to speak impromptu for about a minute about what Zionism means to them, while being filmed in front of their decorative “airplane seats” (for those who don’t know, Nefesh B’Nefesh helps North Americans with the aliyah and post-aliyah process).

If this format of video works well, I’ll consider doing more of them.
