Stop Antisemitism is a grassroots watchdog organization that exposes groups and individuals that espouse incitement towards the Jewish people and State and engage in antisemitic behaviors, similar to what Canary Mission does.*
I am happy to see Stop Antisemitism enjoy great success in helping take down many antisemites, including high profile ones, and I am proud to collaborate with them from time to time.
One of the hallmarks of success in this space is when the haters come after you; then you know you are well and truly over the target. And the haters are well and truly coming after Stop Antisemitism.
You may recall that last month, anti-Israel cyberbully Anna Rajagopal libeled Stop Antisemitism’s Executive Director Liora Rez, in response to being named ‘Antisemite of the Week,’ claiming she was one of the Capital rioters.
Now another hater is going after Stop Antisemitism.
Rafael Shimunov describes himself as
“a creative and political activist in Queens, NYC. You may know Rafael from Ellen Degenerous’ attempt to censor his video from social media after it creatively confronted her rehabilitation of George Bush. His viral video analysis that proved the Trump administration shared a doctored video to frame a reporter. His proving the Israeli government attempted to frame Palestinian mourners of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.”

Shimunov recently took advantage of the fact that Liora Rez did not purchase the domain “stopantisemitism.com” (she has “stopantisemitism.org”). So he went ahead and paid an inflated amount – and is now begging for money because he couldn’t afford it!
Your donation will help pay for StopAntisemitism.com, a domain purchased for nearly $4,000, likely outbidding the site’s efforts to buy it. The site will correct the record on every innocent person smeared with a multimillion-dollar campaign of character assassination. Donations beyond our goal will fund research, advertising, web development, and hosting costs.
StopAntisemitism.org is a website and social media account started by Adam Milstein , a wealthy right-wing AIPAC lobbyist. Its strategy is to list critics of Israeli government actions against Palestinian human rights alongside actual antisemites to conflate criticism of Israel with antisemitism. The impact of this strategy has been devastating to ordinary people, whose jobs, safety and families have been put in danger for being falsely associated with the views of the KKK, Neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
To promote itself, it occasionally lists high-profile celebrities like Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa as antisemites. But its real targets are ordinary students, professors, activists and human rights defenders. Many of them find these listings as the first result for their name on Google search, impacting their employment, relationships, and the physical safety of them and their loved ones.
StopAntisemitism.com’s aim is to sit alongside StopAntisemitism.org’s site in search engine results, correctly name the site’s origins, and repair harm to victims of smears with their actual points of view in support of the safety and security of all Palestinians, all Jews and all human rights advocates everywhere.
