Anti-Israel Fauxtography: Smiling Sadist Edition

Israel-haters have posted the below photo and caption today, like a bunch of mindless robots repeating the same copy:

Naturally, it is not what they claim. For a start, it is a relatively old photo (2015), and the dead person is not a boy, but rather a 23-year old man who had tried to stab a soldier.

Israeli soldiers and settlers gather around the body of a Palestinian man who tried to stab a soldier at the Jewish settlement of Beit Hadassah in the center of the Israeli-occupied city of Hebron, on October 29, 2015. New knife attacks on Israelis in the West Bank left a soldier lightly injured, while two Palestinian assailants were shot dead by security forces, police and the army said. Now look closer at the photo. The Jewish man is not smiling. He has his tongue protruding from his mouth as he seems to be preoccupied with his phone.

And he does not seem to be pointing the phone towards the body of the dead terrorist (although were he to be taking a photo of the dead terrorist, so what?). There is also no evidence that the soldiers have “back out to give him enough space to take his time.” This is simply a fabricated scenario.

And let’s face it. How rich that these Israel-haters call us monsters when they support those who actually are.
