Antisemite Susan Abulhawa Triggered By My Posts Exposing Her Jew-Hatred

It seems I may have triggered antisemite Susan Abulhawa with my posts exposing more of her antisemitism:

Her response shows a number of things.

Firstly, my posts exposing these Jew-haters at the very least get up their noses. That alone would make it worth continuing with such posts, but they also sometimes lead to real life repercussions for the Jew-hater.

Secondly, the response is further evidence as to how Abulhawa cares not for the truth. Painting me as someone “posing as a journalist in the Australian media” is a complete lie. I have never posed as a journalist, nor as someone in the Australian media (especially given I have not lived in Australia for over 22 years). When I write about someone, I make sure to do my research about them. Abulhawa, who is an actual writer, clearly does not.

Then there are the articles to which she links to somehow prove her assertion that Israel has poisoned palestinian water wells and “settlers” continue to do so.

The first articles to which she links is this one from Ha’aretz, and this one from an Arab outlet, to support her allegation that Israel has poisoned palestinian water wells. While they do mention one operation back in 1948 to poison water wells, she leaves out important information – that they were water wells in abandoned Arab villages and Jewish locales to be evacuated; the object was not to cause mass killing but to disrupt the Arabs’ moves during the War of Independence; and the operation was widely criticized both within the IDF and Jewish leadership:

The operation began in April 1948, when fears of an invasion by Arab armies were mounting. The plan was to poison wells in abandoned Arab villages as well as in Jewish locales that were due to be evacuated by the state-in-the-making.

Morris and Kedar believe that the objective of the IDF operation was not to cause mass killing but rather to disrupt the Arabs’ moves.

Ultimately, the operation did not change the face of the war. According to various reports, several dozen Arabs did fall ill, mainly in Acre.

The operation drew scathing criticism within the system – both within the IDF and among the Yishuv leadership – in part because it violated the 1925 Geneva Protocol banning “the use of bacteriological methods of warfare.”

The next article to which she links, in order to prove that “settlers” continue to poison palestinian water wells, is this one from Al Jazeera. It is based on allegations only by “village officials,” and is not substantiated by any proof whatsoever. And remember, this is the same Al Jizz responsible for constant fake news about Israel, as well as antisemitism.

In other words, Abulhawa still has no incontrovertible proof of her allegations, which absolutely do amount to an antisemitic blood libel.

By the way, Abulhawa has received plenty of flack in the comments to her tweets. The few tweets in support of her include this one from an “old friend”:

You know what they say about birds turds of a feather..
