Yesterday, being May the 4th, was Star Wars Day, and the Israel Twitter account – fresh from their great trolling of Iran – did a great job getting in on the act.
But some other official Israeli accounts missed the mark like a shooting Stormtrooper.
Take the IDF for example. Great idea, but the execution left a lot to be desired – whether it be the grammatical errors or the insinuation that the War of Independence itself was the fulfillment of our 200-year-old dream (as opposed to the reestablishment of our homeland):
And the Israeli Air Force tweeted the below, which is an Imperial Tie Fighter – one of the bad guy’s space ships in the franchise – implying we are with the Dark side.
