The Australasian Muslim Times has published a piece by one Emeritus Professor Shahjahan Khan, titled Acid test for Australia: Recognition of stateless Palestinians or surrendering to the pro-Israel lobby? (hat tip: Judy)
Naturally, the piece is full of anti-Israel demonization and blood libels, which when combined with the trope of an all-powerful lobby that manages to keep the Australian government in line, crosses the line into antisemitism.
Right after this trope is dropped in the piece, an ad for reporting Islamophobia appears. I kid you not.
But this is not even the most hilarious thing about the piece. That would be this:
No, there is nothing funny about this map, which is yet another lie. What is funny is Shahjahan Khan linked to where he found the map – a piece containing a comprehensive explanation as to why the map is a lie!
I would have thought an Emeritus Professor would be someone characterized by meticulous research and hard work. Alas, it seems this one is rather lazy.. and a dumbass.
