How We Know Al-Ahli Hospital Was Struck By An Islamic Jihad Rocket

See bottom of post for updates.

Last night, a strike hit the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City, killing innocent Gazan civilians.

Most have been quick to blame Israel; besides the palestinian Arabs and Arab world, this includes most of the mainstream media, and the usual suspects:

Their source: The Gaza Ministry of Health, run by Hamas.

(These are the same people who refuse to believe that Hamas would behead babies, demanding proof, yet readily believe Hamas allegations without question)

The IDF initially said it was looking into the matter, and after an investigation, concluded it was a misfired Islamic Jihad rocket that caused the tragedy, not the IDF.

The IDF evidence seems rather conclusive, yet the detractors refuse to believe us.

Here is why the IDF version should be believed, and the Hamas version rejected outright, even if you want to somehow ignore the IDF’s visual evidence.

Hamas constantly lies

Hamas is the same organization that has shown its aversion to human decency and its readiness to lie at all costs. Remember, they even denied killing civilians, despite their own terrorists using GoPro cameras to document the murders.

Hamas cannot keep their version of events straight

Officials in Gaza have issued contradictory statements about casualty numbers, ranging between dozens to hundreds. Their latest version has the number of dead at 500. Yet Al Ahli Arab Hospital contains only 80 beds.

I should also note that as of the time of this post, there is still no footage whatsoever of 500 bodies, let alone 100 bodies. If 500 were killed, they would surely be parading them around for the world to see.

The IDF has a track record in admitting mistakes

While the IDF never deliberating kills civilians, that is sometimes the result of our air strikes. In those case, the IDF has a track record in investigating and, if any fault can be attributed to IDF operational failures, has no problem with admitting to it and apologizing. Yet here the IDF investigated and denied responsibility based on the evidence.

Independent investigators confirm IDF version

Unbiased sources have investigating the available footage and concluded the same as the IDF.
