Kitty Laing, the head of comedy at U.K. talent agency United Agents, is (hopefully) in career trouble, after reposting heinous anti-Israel tweets, including one justifying the murder of innocent Jewish civilians.
Comedy writer Lee Kern drew attention to the specific tweets:
Over 1400 civilians murdered. Women raped. Babies killed. Children burned. Acts all filmed by Hamas & all within the borders of Israel as recognised by the UN. But @kitty of @UnitedAgents shares a post casting civilian victims of rape & war crimes as “legitimate” military targets pic.twitter.com/dG1NUzZZpQ

@kittylaing gloats over Israel, (still burying murdered children), sharing a triumphalist tweet stating there’s no empathy for Israel. (There is). What is this spite & contempt that Kitty of @UnitedAgents has for a people who lost the most Jews in one day since the Holocaust? pic.twitter.com/iAC0oGQKPr

Kitty is disgraceful. My friend was hospitalised this week. He collapsed from it all. His cousins were made to watch their own children murdered. Hamas filmed their reactions & live streamed it. More family are kidnapped. But Kitty finds much to mock here. What a wicked soul

Laing originally deleted her account after being exposed, before reinstating it to post the following apology:
“I would like to unreservedly apologise for my retweets on social media surrounding the horrendous attacks in Israel on October 7th. With hindsight, I realise how naive I have been and that much of the information on social media surrounding the conflict is unsubstantiated and hurtful. I should have taken time to consider this beforehand.”
Allow me to redraft it to reflect what I believe is closer to the truth:
“I would like to unreservedly apologise for my retweets on social media surrounding the Hamas resistance acts in Israel on October 7th. With hindsight, I realise how naive I have been to think I would not jeopardize my career by exposing the evil in my heart.”
Laing seems to have deleted her account again – and possibly her career:
We have been made aware of social media posts by one of our senior agents this morning. These are not the views of United Agents Ltd. We are conducting a full and thorough investigation into this immediately.

Meanwhile, this is one of her tweets, which is still visible in Google Search:

Israeli parents who went “camping” with their kids at the Supernova Music festival were also no doubt excited to be doing so.
