Israel-haters on TikTok have been sharing video of Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence supposedly speaking out in support of “Palestine”

But it turns out this, like pretty much everything else they share, is a lie.
This video is from when she received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Women in Entertainment. Her words were actually a quote from Elie Wiesel (hat tip: Jewlicious).
When some pointed this out in the comments to some of the above TikTok videos, other commenters claimed Lawrence did sign a ceasefire petition:

This is also a lie, and in fact, other Israel-haters have criticized her for being silent.

It is quite remarkable how the haters will lie about pretty much anything in order to advance their agenda.
