Almost a month ago, Wokey Horror Susan Sarandon got dropped by United Talent Agency, over her vile remarks at a an anti-Israel rally in which she said:
“There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence,” Sarandon told the rally, as she pointed to American Jews fearful over rising antisemitism.
Soon after, she apologized for the remarks in an Instagram post:
“Recently, I attended a rally alongside a diverse group of activists seeking to highlight the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza and call for a ceasefire. I had not planned to speak but was invited to take the stage and say a few words.
Intending to communicate my concern for an increase in hate crimes, I said that Jewish Americans, as the targets of rising antisemitic hate, ‘are getting a taste of what it is like to be Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence.’ This phrasing was a terrible mistake, as it implies that until recently Jews have been strangers to persecution, when the opposite is true. As we all know, from centuries of oppression and genocide in Europe, to the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh, PA, Jews have long been familiar with discrimination and religious violence which continues to this day. I deeply regret diminishing this reality and hurting people with this comment. It was my intent to show solidarity in the struggle against bigotry of all kinds, and I am sorry I failed to do so.
I will continue my commitment to peace, truth, justice, and compassion for all people. I hope that we can meet with love and willingness to engage in dialogue, especially with those with whom we disagree.”
Then she shut up for roughly two weeks… before tweeting up a storm.
And her tweets show how her apology was completely disingenuous.
Because nothing says you are concerned about Jews being “so often subjected to violence”, as well as your commitment to peace, compassion for all people and meeting with love like retweeting a call to “globalize the Intifada”:
🇵🇸INTIFADA, INTIFADA! GLOBALIZE THE INTIFADA!

and retweeting a show of support for Hamas:
Hamas are resistance fighters. I don't give two craps what the US, Israel and UK claim. The right to armed struggle is a guaranteed right under international law, for every single Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese person living under illegal Israeli occupation. pic.twitter.com/WUvHNVDpet

while nothing says you are concerned about “rising antisemitic hate” like retweeting actual antisemites:
These are just a sample of the antisemitism and terror-support in the dumpster fire that is her Twitter/X timeline.
Sarandon is an absolute disgrace to humanity and I hope we never have to see her on the big screen ever again.
