With the disclosure of the first batch of court files linked to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the antisemites of the world are trying to somehow implicate Israel and all of the world’s Jews in his nefarious activities, as well as those mentioned in the documents.
One of the crazier conspiracy theories now floating around on social media is that Tom Hanks has converted to Judaism in order to flee to Israel, following the release of the Epstein client list.

Naturally, it is complete bollocks. Tom did not even appear on the client list, let alone convert to Judaism or flee to Israel.
Tom has long been plagued by unfounded allegations of pedophilia and of being a passenger aboard Epstein’s infamous Lolita Express. It seems those posting this latest allegation did not even bother looking over the newly-released documents; they simply went along with the old lies.
In fact, this is not the first time he has been accused of fleeing the US. In 2020, nutters were claiming he had fled to Greece.
Meanwhile, they have used a 2014 video of Tom Hanks dancing in a crowd while wearing a yarmulke and Jewish prayer shawl at Justin Bieber’s manager’s wedding as “proof” of their allegation. They really need to try harder.
True, Tom is a friend of the Jewish people and the Jewish state. But I don’t think he will be converting any time soon. And if he ever does, we will be happy to have him.
