Following her incredibly powerful video in support of the Jewish people and our indigenous rights, former champion Australian hockey player and sprinter Nova Peris continues to speak out against the hate we are receiving.
Nova spoke with Sky News Australia’s Sharri Markson and there is no mistaking just how much she is personally hurting to witness what the Jewish people are enduring. You can hear the tremor in her voice and see she is about to cry.
And I too was about to cry watching this, knowing that one of my sporting heroines is standing up for us with such conviction, in the face of abuse from those denying morality and history.
