If it wasn’t already clear from my many posts on APAN head Nasser Mashni, he tries to portray one sanitized version to regular Australians but portrays his real self to his fellow rabid Israel-haters.
But sometimes he forgets himself and shows ‘real Nasser’ when he meant to show ‘nice Nasser’.
In an almost comical example of this, he recently appeared on Melbourne’s 3AW radio station to discuss a highly disturbing incident of Australian Jews attending a Melbourne council meeting being assaulted by anti-Israel protesters. Mashni at first seems to justify the violence , claiming the Jews were “deliberately provocative” in waving an Israeli flag, but then, when asked what is wrong with waving an Israeli flag, corrects himself and says “nothing.”
He follows that up with an almost equally comical response after being confronted with the fact that a Jewish woman was called a “baby killer” by some in the same crowd.
By the way, the footage of the incident shows the victim was not waving or holding an Israeli flag. His crime seems to have been being visibly Jewish.
