Remember the Seinfeld episode where Jerry’s dentist Tim Whatley converted to Judaism and started telling Jewish jokes, causing Jerry to believe he only converted in order to get away with that?
Well, it looks like the Muslim community believe something similar of BLM activist and Israel-hater Shaun King (who I prefer to call ‘Wayne’), except substitute “telling jokes” with “grifting for money.”
Controversial BLM activist and race hoaxer Shaun King, who recently converted to Islam, has been disinvited from a Ramadan event in Minneapolis after the community accused him of being a “grifter” when they found out that he was selling tickets for up to $1,000 apiece.
King, 44, was slated to be the keynote speaker at a Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event in Minneapolis on Thursday but the branch disinvited him following mass backlash on social media, the Daily Mail reports.

Less than one day after converting, King announced a multi-city speaking tour with $1,000 VIP tickets.

Individuals on social media took immediate issue with King’s conversion and encouraged the organization to cease its relationship with the “scam artist.”
“Do not let CAIR be tainted by association with this grifter,” one user wrote on X.
“People familiar with his history know he’s a prolific scam artist. I wouldn’t associate with him, especially for any fundraiser,” another added.
King already had a reputation as a grifter before this conversion, so these reactions are not coming out of thin air.
He also has a reputation as a huge liar, as his recent claim that he helped secure the release of a teenage American girl and her mother from the clutches of Hamas should attest.
