Last week there were rumors that Jewish actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be offered the iconic role of James Bond, following on from Daniel Craig.

Many Twitter/X users – almost all (coincidentally I am sure) who happened to be Israel-haters – blasted me for suggesting anyone would care that he Jewish. Their gripe is only with “Zionists”, after all.




I guess they didn’t get the memo that it is open season on Jews, and you needn’t hide your Jew hatred these days. Other users have shown my tweet to have been prescient by calling for a boycott of the Bond movies just because Aaron is Jewish:



There is absolutely no indication that Aaron loves or supports Israel, so to be clear, their calls to boycott him are based solely on him being Jewish.
