Unhinged Roger Waters On Piers Morgan Uncensored

Last night, Piers Morgan interviewed an incredibly belligerent Roger Waters.

While many Israel supporters have been criticizing Morgan for giving a platform to the detestable Waters, I would like to thank him.

True, Morgan could have called out Waters for many other things and brought up many more examples of his blatant antisemitism.

And he surely did not need to agree with Waters on things like the so-called Nakba – which was in essence a failed attempt by the Arabs to genocide the Jews – or that October 7 didn’t happen in a vacuum.

But by interviewing Waters and calling him out on things like his double standards and reaction to October 7, as well as bringing up the accusations of antisemitism, he provided Waters with enough rope to hang himself.

And hang himself he did.

I recommend you watch the entire thing if you can, even though you – like me – will likely feel a compulsion to throw up every time Waters speaks.

But for those who cannot bring themselves to do this, I have provided some examples of Waters hoisting himself on his own petard.

Like when he denies Jewish indigenousness to the land of Israel and, after Morgan explains how Jewish belief as well as history shows a Jewish connection to the land, laughs it off, explaining he has no interest in reading up on this – despite proclaiming earlier how his mom’s mantra of “read, read, read” is so instrumental in him deciding what is right and wrong:

Invoking the antisemitic trope of a powerful (Jewish, oops sorry, Zionist) lobby:

Invoking the antisemitic idea that Jews (in Israel) feel superior to others.. while admitting at least one of his statements could sound antisemitic:

Ridiculously rejecting the idea that the palestinian Arabs have rejected multiple peace deals for a two-state solution (which are all well-documented), while admitting he would trust arch terrorist Yasser Arafat – who he notes is “sadly dead” – over Bill Clinton:

Refusing to condemn October 7 as terrorism, while painting Hamas as resistance fighters with a duty to engage in armed resistance, but who might have crossed some lines when killing civilians:

Engaging in October 7 atrocity denialism – despite being confronted with the evidence – while making light of the situation with incredibly unhinged behavior, including talking to himself and laughing:

Showing a callous disregard for the lives of Israelis murdered while again making light of the situation with bizarre behavior:

and showing utter hypocrisy and moral cowardice to avoid condemning Putin and Russia for the war crime of invading Ukraine (while readily accusing Israel of these things without even any evidence)

So, yes, Piers Morgan did us a great service by allowing Roger Waters to be Roger Waters.

And if anyone who watches this does not believe Waters to be a raging antisemite and all-round bad guy on the wrong side of history, they also need their head examined.
