Remember how after Iran’s president was killed in a helicopter crash, many fell for the joke that he had been killed by a Mossad agent name ‘Eli Copter’?
Well, it’s happened again, this time with many – predominantly Turkish media – falling for the joke that Ismail Haniyeh was killed by a Mossad agent called ‘Amit Nakesh’ (a play on the Hebrew word for assassin: מתנקש (pronounced mitnakesh):
What makes this even more hilarious is how some have decided he must have been Indian because of the name ‘Amit’ (which they clearly don’t realize is also a Hebrew name):
But not to worry. Some of the Turkish media aren’t so easily fooled!
