No doubt you have all already heard the good news: the conversion into worm food of head Hamas-hole Yahya Sinwar.
It turns out he was was shot dead along with two other terrorists in a firefight in Rafah – you know, the place some were warning us not to operate in.
In the end, the manner of his death – welcome as it is – was almost an anti-climax:
He was not being directly targeted, and troops only realized that one of the three dead terrorists was apparently Sinwar when they inspected the scene of the firefight on Thursday morning.
Confirmation that the body was indeed Sinwar was finalized on the basis of DNA and other testing.
In a massive coincidence, my collaborator-in-animation Yair Barnatan and I had been working on an animation about Sinwar’s death for a while, and it was only just completed today. And while his manner of death turned out to be different than of that we envisaged, the fact he is dead is good enough for us!
