Daily Mail Buys Into Ugly Anti-Israel Slur

The Israel-haters have been licking their chops as a PR opportunity has presented itself to distract from their own shitty behavior: a woman in Sydney filmed screaming at a mother and her daughter at a Kmart because of their “pro-Palestine” outfits.

While I don’t condone the woman’s behavior, I also don’t condone her being called a “Zionist Zaren.”

For a start, there is no proof she is even Zionist (i.e. believes in the existence of Israel as the historical homeland of the Jewish people). She might be just a regular lady fed up with the vile behavior of the anti-Israel crowd in Australia, such as their blocking traffic, vandalizing businesses, pelting people and animals with objects, accosting people, and spoiling Christmas displays just to name some of their acts.

And the use of the word “Zaren” is also insidious. Zaren is meant to connote ‘zoomer Karen’, where a ‘Karen’ is “an upper middle-class white woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding.” By using this word, the haters are trying to paint the woman – who they are basically saying is Jewish – as “White.” It is another attempt to erase Jewish ties to their homeland, albeit more subtle that most of their other techniques.

But this is all to be expected from the haters. It is the Daily Mail I am particularly disappointed with here:

And this is a big part of the problem we are all facing. Almost all of the mainstream media is playing into the fake narratives, not dispelling them.
